There was a setting to invert the video but not one to change horizontal.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The mount is mostly necessary if the placement is attached to a ceiling or a floor. The software includes a tick box for inverted vertical placement. If the placement is attached to a wall, there is an inclued ball mount in the camera package that allows for most angle options. The camera motion sensor works best in picking up movement across its path, as opposed to directly in front of the camera. I like to use placement positions that are either hidden or above eye level.
