With my arlo 2 pro I do see a USB slot but I have yet to use it

This includes free rolling 7-day cloud recording, live streaming, 2-way audio, local storage, and activity zones on up to 5 cameras. Additionally, you may setup local storage feature as backup detailed here : https://kb.arlo.com/1146857/. It is not meant to replace the Arlo cloud storage. ^RM
