A:AnswerThe cameras time out around five minutes. Continuous live feed is not possible with Arlo. None of my four cameras record longer than two minutes even when the subject is in constant motion, though by default they should record up to five minutes.
A:AnswerTo better assist you with the concern your raised above, please send us an email at [email protected] detailing your concern, including your email address linked to your Arlo account, your contact number and a screenshot of your Best Buy inquiry. ^RM
A:AnswerYes, you can use the adapter and cable that it comes with to power it indoor. For outdoor option, we recommend getting the VMA5600C charging cable. ^RM
A:AnswerThe Arlo Pro 4 camera comes with an Arlo Smart trial. When the trial expires, you have the option to purchase an Arlo Smart subscription. Without an Arlo Smart subscription, you can still add up to 5 cameras to your Arlo account, live stream, and receive motion and audio notifications. ^RM
A:AnswerThe supplied adapter of the camera will be compatible to the voltage rating of the region that it is available to. If in USA, it will be 120v ready. ^RM
A:AnswerIf you'd don't have REALLY good (as in amazing) WiFi and internet, you'll be sadly disappointed with the performance of this system at any distance. Also, you'll be recharging batteries every 3 days like we had to do, which renders the security system useless. Arlo says you only have to charge the cameras every 3 months or so and that's a flat lie. Don't buy 1. Don't buy 2. Don't buy 3. Look for a different system; you'll be much happier. We switched to Reolink. However, regarding the Arlo system, we are now stuck trying to work out our issues with their warranty support. One of our cameras, well all of them actually, suffered from signal dropping for no real reason. When they drop signal, you have no security system. Keep that in mind. Even the ones mounted TO THE HOUSE dropped signal and the batteries were useless what with their incessant need to be charged, which meant they had to be taken down.
A:AnswerI don't believe so. They are battery powered, but an optional 25' charging cable can be purchased and is designed for outdoor use. It will keep your battery power at 100% all of the time.
A:AnswerYes, its Continuous Video Recording (CVR) feature is available only if you pair the Arlo Pro 4 camera to an optional Arlo SmartHub or base station (sold separately). ^RM
A:AnswerThe Pro 4 camera requires either wireless or an Arlo Base Station, but since you do not have wireless the Pro 3 is a better option since the base station is included in the kit.
My Pro 4 cameras are indoors where I work but at home I have Pro 3 and they have preformed without issue in rain, snow, and sun.
A:AnswerThe Arlo Dual Charging Station lets you charge up to two batteries at a time, so you’ll always have a spare ready to swap in: https://bit.ly/3kJ3INA
A:AnswerThe Arlo Pro 4 cameras require 2 Mbps upload per camera. Please note that the Arlo Pro 4 camera can only connect to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network during setup.
