A: This is why I won’t buy a newer Arlo. Pay this much for a camera and can no longer record without paying a subscription. I’m glad I bought the older version. Also the not being able to remove the battery to charge is a bad design. I used to recommend Arlo but no longer will sue to these two issues they brought upon themselves
