My battery lasted me 1 week after install and I live in TX. You have to buy the solar panel with it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Battery life heavily depends on activity. I have one in my backyard, and it gets a lot of activity from my dogs. That camera is lucky to see 3 weeks of life. Your best bet is to pair it with the solar charger. A solar charger and a full battery will basically extend the life months in my situation. I cannot speak to sub-freezing temps, but I don't think the battery will be any issue. The camera may but the biggest risk to any electronic is heat, not cold.
