Do wireless cameras like this slow down your internet? Does using these slow down your internet speed?

I have not seen any slowness of speed. I am pretty consistent with what I was before implementing them. Maybe because they record straight to the cloud service. The only time you are "streaming" is when viewing live from the app or online.

I worried the same, if you have over 50mbps you should be fine. If concerned increase your speed. I have 1tb but need that terabyte for we have family of five with all devices, gaming and movie streaming + Arlo. No issues on my end

No because they don't record all the time unless you schedule them. Otherwise they activate on motion.

I have both cameras running, and I do not notice any degradation in local network bandwidth.

not at all that I can tell. I have cable internet w/ router. Its the router size that is the question you need to ask. I can't answer that however, I am on my 3rd router to reach the whole house.
