“Bought an Arris SBG10 to replace the Arris TG1682G that I rent from Xfinity. The TG1682G has a port that allows connection directly to the HDMI port on the back of the TV. The SBG10 has NO port to connect to the TV HDMI. What do I do?”

Hello - the TG1682G does not have an HDMI port. It only has Ethernet (4), Telephony (2) and Coax (1). The SBG10 has Ethernet (2) and Coax (1) so if you need telephone service, the SBG10 will not support that.
