“I have cable internet (cox) coming to run a line to my residence. Will this router/modem connect with it to emit a wifi signal for my phone, laptop computer, and ipad? do I need anything else other than what comes in the package? Thanks, in advance.”

I have Cox also. I didn't need anything, just opened the box and plugged it in.

Please try again later.All you need to plugin to the cable and its ready to go if the mac address is with the vendor in this case COX and if not you need to call them to give the MAC address that you can find on your box or on your modem. Select the 5 Mhz wifi and you are going to town with any components like phone, laptop ipad etc

I do know they asked the size of my house,when I told them what I needed. I would highly recommend their advice. If you don’t have a Best Buy talk to someone who is qualified to answer this question.
