No, this device is a cable modem and would work only with a cable internet subscription. It won't work with Fios, DSL (Centurylink) or satellite internet services

I don't think so. It's a cable modem and works with Comcast and maybe other cable companies. Check with your internet provider. They usually have a list of supported equipment.
