No, this will not work with AT&T DSL.

Hi Ned, No, this device is a cable gateway and would work only with a cable internet subscription. It won't work with Fios, DSL or satellite internet services

I can tell you that that modem is compatible with comcast and the best for high speed internet land line applications. I would recommend to check with one of the technicians at bestbuy for your application and comparability.
