• Yes, contact Cox with the new router info. It took about 5 minutes for them to activate.

• I'm using it with Cox. You may need to call them after setting up so they can activate everything.

• Yes, this works with your standard coaxial cables. However, this is not a router. They do offer that version, as well, but this particular model is just the modem with a single output designed to feed a router or switch.
