• If you're asking this question in regards to playing FPS games or getting a better sound of your environment. The answer is yes, I play MW with this and I can hear footsteps at max volume from a couple of feet away in any direction, above, and below me.

• Yes, I believe I read some documentation saying it will support 3D audio on the new consoles. Also, it does support 3D audio on the PC already.
