A:AnswerNo this laptop will not play games such as Fortnite. You would need more of a gaming computer to do that. This is great for searching the web, and watching Youtube videos, that is mostly it.
A:AnswerOnly if you have it on your lap and the whole unit is wobbling from punching the keys. This question usually comes up only for touch screen laptops, since actually swiping and tapping the screen is the most common source of screen wobble. Keep in mind this does NOT have a touchscreen! An unrelated, but nice screen feature, is that the screen will "deep recline" all the way down to the kitchen counter. Although this is a safety feature so that kids who don't know their own strength don't bend the screen back too far and snap it off the hinges, I find the "deep recline" essential when used on a kitchen counter so I can get a good viewing angle. My older Asus only reclined to 45 degrees which wasn't enough.
A:AnswerYes, however if the internal storage is full and a Windows update is pending we would recommend inserting a external USB storage. This will allow the Windows update to complete.
A:AnswerThe 32GB "hard dirve" is the *total unformatted" size. So, you format it, and usuable space on the whole drive comes down to 28GB. Then Windows nstalls the first time you turn it on, and that cuts the space in half. So, to answer your question, 32GB does NOT include the OS.
On mine that I've had for about a month, Windows 10 now takes up 10.1GB, the pagefile.sys hidden system file takes another 2.7GB, ProgramData takes another 1.6 Gigs (this is mostly browser cache) Programs are about 3GB (I used the store to take it out of S mode in the first hour) And miscellaneous junk takes another .3GB. All told, this leaves me a little over 11GB free. (11,481,899,008 bytes free actually) I turned off hibernation to get rid of its 3 GB file (its always on - closing the lid makes it sleep so its instant-on like an ipad) Also, its done about 4 or fine routine Windows updates. I had to run diskcleanup after one of them to get back about 3GB.
I love this little machine. Sure another 2 or 4GB of ram would be nice, and a larger HD too, but for what it is and the great price I got it in store, WOW does it beat the !@#%^&(* out of some crappy android tablet.
One other tip - get an ad blocker for your chrome or firefox. I don't care about the ads themselves, but it dramatically reduces the number of hidden additional sites that each web page tries to connect to. So, your browsing speed will go up dramatically.
A:AnswerWe do not recommend putting Linux on this notebook, as this is not an operating system that we support and you may experience compatibility issues.
