I suspect it would be able to handle LoL. I don't believe it was designed as a gaming laptop. The screen resolution is 1366 x 768 which is not as sharp as 1920 x 1080. For a college student it should fit the bill. It's compact and light. The power supply doesn't weigh to much either. Should be easy to carry around in a backpack or messenger bag. It comes with Office 365 but you'd need to purchase the activation key for the full version.
