I am a college student who uses my laptop pretty regularly for school work and just normal web surfing and netflix streaming. So when my old laptop started acting up, I knew I needed to get something new and reliable before it died altogether. In the month that I have had this laptop, I cannot think of any complaints. I really love the 2 in 1 function and how can fold all the way back. It runs much faster than my old computer and I love windows 10 as compared to windows 8. It starts up pretty quickly and it is so light and easy to carry! The only minor complaint that I have at this point is that for some reason the entire laptop really seems to be a magnet for finger prints and smudges. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase; it's a great value and would recommend this lap to to anyone looking for a 2 in 1 PC.

After I read the reviews I was slightly impressed. I wanted a mid range laptop not to cheap not too expensive and with the ratings I thought why not! Firstly this laptop is a fingerprint magnet, if you're going to use it, wear gloves. I spent a great deal of time trying to eliminate some of the prints, it made the laptop look greasy. Secondly, it does not work as well. The first one I bought once I started the initial set-up of the laptop the screen went out "HD graphics failed, it has been recovered" i'm like what! but the screen didn't go out just the notification, so i thought it was glitch but NOPE, the next day same thing happened. So I returned it. I bought it new this shouldn't be happened. I exchanged it for the same model hoping the last one had a glitch because I really did like it, but nope. The new one did the same thing, but the display driver on the newer one actually went out more than the last and I returned it and got a DELL instead. The laptop it self while I had it was great, great battery life, I used it for notes in grad school, rarely brought my charger with me, and the speed was great, it did feel a little bulky however, but the glitches on 2 different "new" laptops was enough for me to reconsider

Decided to purchased the laptop after reading many reviews and testing in the store. The price was right for the features. It fit the bill. Not as wide as a 15" and not so small as an 11". Unboxed the 2in1 and found the box only had the 2in1 and the power cable. There wasn't any documentation or manuals. Which is good since most of that material gets thrown away. Plugged in the charger into the 2in1 and it fits snugley. Powered on the 2in1. It did not take long for it to go through it's initial bootup. After it completed it's boot up I signed in with my Microsoft account. Connected it to my wireless network. I chose not to save to OneDrive since it has a 1TB hard drive. I use Google Drive and have a NAS. Immediately installed the anti-virus. Did a few browsing tasks to get the initial feel. I installed Chrome and Adobe. Checked for any windows updates. There were quite a few to install. I let it go through the update process. That took a bit of time. It had to download all the updates, install and then reboot (approx 1.5 hrs.) The longest update was for Windows 10. After the updates were finished it rebooted and it was fine. There are other apps and software to upload but I will see how these run first. I also downloaded the software for my wireless printer. Printed a test page successfully. I did not opt in for the 25GB of free dropbox a 6 month subscription. Registered my ASUS on the web site. The laptop seems to run fine in both laptop and tablet modes. I suspect owners my be running into issues with lengthy updates and thinking the 2 in 1 has problems. Only time will tell. I will try to remember to update after I've had it for a while.

This is a very light and slim 2-in-1 machine which will handle all of the jobs I need to do on a portable. Unlike some machines in the same (or higher) price categories, it also has all of the ports I need to use it for presentations. Although I prefer a much larger screen when I am working in an office, this a great machine for out of the office work. Note: This machine also has a backlit keyboard, which is a big plus in a machine at this price level. I expect that the 2-in-1 design of the machine will also come in handy if I want to make a presentation to a very small audience, e.g., a married couple and their adult daughter at a dining room table (I am an Estate Planning attorney).

I bought this laptop for school purposes and so far has been awesome. I can do everything I need to with ease. Love how quick and responsive it is and how I don't have to worry about running out of storage on my hard drive. I have about 5 years worth of photos, a few programs I have downloaded, and some apps, and still haven't hit 100 GB. It is easy to carry around because of the size, and yet still seems very durable and sturdy. I don't really use it as a tablet too much, but when I have, it is awesome. I love this laptop and will definitely consider ASUS again when it comes time to replace this one, which I don't see being too soon!

The Asus is Aces! Compared to my Dell studio that I had for several years, this computer is lightning fast! I had never even heard of Asus before. The 2 in 1 feature and touch screen for the price is amazing!!!

This was a Christmas present for my husband. He says, it is really fast. But I think he enjoys the fact the screen is touch screen and it makes it easier for him to maneuver around when it is in tablet mode. It is great for school and business us.

Does everything that I want and has a great battery life. Only wish there was a top of page button for surfing and end of page short cut as well. Perhaps there is and I just need to look it up. My HP had these short cuts on their small keypad and I miss it already.

Great laptop for home use. It is made well and has a really nice metal finish. It is fast and light and the battery life is great so far. I haven't been using it as a tablet much. I tablet mode the screen is a bit too reflective.

Sales guy recommend this product over hp and dell.. I had bought so many dell computers before.. I wanted to give a different brand a chance. Performance is good.. Touch screen has no problem .. Light computer to carry around. Keyboard, I like dell's Better.. Screen glare when u r using laptop under the light which I don't like it.. I need some kind of screen protector to avoid that.. Other than that it is good computer, lots of space 1 tb. Good memory 6gb.. It is cheaper than dell and hp..

I originally was going to get a different lap top. The associate that helped me showed me this and I really liked it. It wasn't till I was home that I really fell in love with it. I love the look and the feel and the convenience of changing it to a tablet whenever I want. It's super fast. I've never had a problem with it. I use it for school and personal use, goes above my expectations

*Note (At the time of this writing I haven't been through all the nooks and crannies of my computer, so as you read through my review keep that in mind. I've only had this comp for a month) I needed a computer I could trust would do three things: run smoothly, run quickly, and would let me draw on the screen with the stylus. That doesn't sound like a lot given most computers say they can do the formers but, I actually found all three of those requirements in this computer. My old computer was a 2004 Windows Vista that refused to die, but took ten minutes to turn on and another ten to be ready. However this one, you push the power button and it's on in, I swear, sixty seconds and ready in two minutes after processing. I swear this thing is so fast. It processes things I put on it well, doesn't crash, has a quick download speed but my favorite thing is that I can draw on the screen with a stylus. It's perfect for Photoshop, Illustrator, Paint, Flash. This computer does exactly what I bought it for :)

Had this Asus for a mouth works very good and small to use . Battery life is really good last are day for me. It have the speed you need when you need it. The only thing I question is the touch screen works better then the finger pad so sometimes you can not click on things with out clicking on many items at on time. Will write again after I have had this for a year
