Bought this laptop in January. In the first month, the left speaker began cutting in and out. Now it's not working at all (the right speaker is fine). I do get both channels through headphones, just not on the device's speaker. Any thoughts on a fix? null

I had same issue. I exchanged mine for another and same thing happened again after the chrome os update. My bet is this will be something Asus will be addressing, hopefully soon. I ended up returning the 2nd one and opting for another brand chromebook. I was disappointed as it checked all the boxes in what I really wanted except this problem overshadows its potential.
