Depending on how old your previous monitor is. If your monitor is more than 4 years old, you should probably buy this monitor. If not, your previous monitor should work fine

Yes this monitor will work well enough. I have a ryzen 1800X and RX 480 8GB and I am able to reach 100+ fps on certain games. Its a great monitor so far and color is great. Just have to put it to your liking.
