I bought this product bc I needed a monitor with 120hz, 1ms response time and a large screen size. This monitor fit everything and really didn’t break the bank. Pushing my graphics and this thing is picking it up. Asus is a great company and wouldn’t expect anything but the best from them. #AsusLife

My son is thrilled with the picture quality and refresh rate for gaming. Paired with his Alien Ware computer, this monitor is amazing. Absolutely no visible lag in action gaming. Brilliant color. Super contrast right out of the box. This is a great buy for gaming.

Asus has done it again when it comes to gaming monitors. I have two of these baby and let me tell you what an upgrade. Has both hdmi and displayports available. In order to take advantage of the 144Hz that the monitor provides you have to make sure you plug them in with the displayport and then go into your settings and select 144hz. It not something that just happens by plugging in the displayport cable. Monitor features a 1 ms response time and 80,000,000:1 contrast ratio for ultrarealistic gaming visuals.

I had to return my previous Samsung monitor. Word to the wise make sure to check refresh rates before purchasing for gaming pc setups. This monitor has 144hz refresh rate. Trust me, you can tell the difference. Also, it literally takes under a minute to come on. I believe my previous monitor was defective because it took over 10 minutes for it to find a source to connect to. With my Asus monitor it took also, infer 1 minute. I actually cried when I finally got it set up. I had a lot of misfortunes with my first gaming pc setup, but now I'm finally reaping the rewards. I love how the screen can be flipped vertically and you can adjust the angle for viewing. My one and only con to this monitor is the power cable is on the short side so, unless you have a surge protector, you need to be very close to a outlet. Otherwise, I am loving this baby! One final caveat, just do your research before purchasing your monitor. I promise it will save you heartache later.

Puchased this Asus Vg 248 24" gaming " monitor at best buy, when purchasing dell inspiron 5675 Gaming desktop, fast cpu, graphics card etc. This monitor has a cool 144hz rapid refresh rate, 1 ms trace free-response, has full 1080 3d HD resolution , multiple in & outputs, for different types of connections, display screen rotates portrait & landscape 16.9 aspect ratio, nvidia 3d vision. Great monitor for all the fast action games we play, prices at $248. Also can check online for "open-box" certified,options to save $$ overall great video details, no lagging or shadowing, plays smooth like watching a 4k tv. Cant go rong for the price!!

I'm a big ASUS fan so I'm slightly biased but everything about this monitor has been great. Everything you need to run at 144Hz right out of the box.

Great monitor for the price! This has the needed features for gaming purposes. HDMI, dual-link DVI-D and DisplayPort inputs, 1 ms response time and 80,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Also, it does the higher 240Hz refresh, to save your eyes while gaming longer!

My teen really loves this monitor, great for a small desks. Great changeable settings on monitor great picture when gaming.

This was such an incredible change from 60 to 144Hz. Keep in mind, your PC MUST be able to continually put out 144 FPS in order to get the 144hz, so if you cannot hit those numbers, you are wasting your money. I am never going back to 60Hz, this was such a game-changer buy for my gaming and just in general.

I was shocked with this monitor. The colors are vibrant, and everything is smooth. Lots of customization with color too.

I am always been a fan of Asus monitors and bough this monitor to use as my work and gaming laptop. After using for an year I am very pleased by it, highly recommended for work and gaming purposes.

This is the first time I have purchased a monitor designed for gaming. There is definitely a big difference from using a standard computer monitor vs a gaming monitor. I think this was a great value for the money. Very happy with the video quality.

I bought one of these to compliment my gaming PC build, I'm very satisfied with the performance of this monitor 144hz is excellent along with the 1ms timing equals a great gaming experience. I liked it so much I bought a second one for a dual display setup.

This Monitor is the best single monitor I currently own. Great for any pc gamers.

Overview: I bought this in November of 2017 to use with an iBuypower Gaming PC bundle that I also purchased from Best Buy. I only have used and tested the HDMI & Display Port options. The Good: The color accuracy on this is pretty impressive considering the price point it goes for. The preset profiles are well adjusted and are worth browsing. The buttons on the bottom left of the monitor have a good tactile feeling when you press them, and make it easy to navigate the monitor menu. The stand / arm that the monitor comes with are both very sturdy, and it's easy to rotate and maneuver it into any desired position. G-Sync compatibility is a huge plus. The Bad: The only remotely bad thing about this product is it's age - you probably can find a better monitor at the same price point. If you do get it, however, know that it will give you years of good usage. The Other: This is a 3D compatible monitor, but to honest hardly any developers make games with that functionality anymore. I might have used this feature one time in the three years I've owned it. Recommend? Yes

It’s a bit overpriced, but amazing quality, my second one!

Never played on a gaming monitor until I got this. It’s awesome. Now I love my Qled but for online play. A gaming monitor is where it’s at. 144hz. 1ms
