I was looking for a great second monitor for my PC. When I saw that this was on sale I jumped on it! I am happy I did. The 144hz is amazing, the color quality (once tweaked) is amazing, and the sharpness is to my liking. The 1ms delay is phenomenal. Let's just say this monitor is now my main monitor. I wish I could've purchased two for my setup.

I absolutely love the monitor. It looks amazingly beautiful with a very crisp and clear image all the time. No problems hitting 144hz in games and blue rays never looked this good on my 37 inch lg tv. I bought a 970 off Craigslist and picked this monitor up since I was using my TV for my pc gaming. Now I can get off the porch and run with the big dogs.

Built my gaming rig with middle of the line AMD chip set and graphics card. I paired the system with the Asus VG248QE monitor as it had the specs that I was looking for, at the price point I could afford. It delivers a sweet picture at a fantastic frame rate with no tearing. For the price, this is an amazing monitor which helped take my FPS game to the next level.

I purchased 2 of these monitors, because they seemed to be the best price for the most amount of features. The color is great and has lots of settings that can be easily customized. 144 hertz looks absolutely great as well.

The one thing that I love about this monitor is the functions it provides like game mode classic ect the colors of each mode stands out in a very unique way the sound however could use some more work like just a little bass wouldn't hurt or at least make it to where it does not sound so basic like someone threw in a set of cheap speakers and called it good

I bought this monitor for office use and some Gaming in my spare time. 24” at 1920x1080 seems to be the sweet spot for size to screen ratio. There are much larger monitors out there, but I recommend higher resolutions for larger screens (e.g. 27” monitor 2560x1440 or 2560x1600). For my use, watching YouTube, playing some games, and productivity, this monitor is great. I appreciate the clean aesthetics and high refresh rate. However, I am not utilizing the monitor to its full potential since I am using HDMI cables with Integrated graphics (not running at 144Hz). Great monitor at a reasonable price point. Perfect for FPS style games, and many others.

Really can't complain. I think this will please most people looking for a gaming monitor. Do a quick web search to find what popular settings profiles other people use to get just the right contrast/brightness/color etc. It's a pretty picture without sacrificing response time.

This is the first 144hz monitor I’ve bought for gaming on my PC. You can see the difference, going from a 60hz to a 144hz monitor. Worth the money. Would recommend

This monitor would have to be the best monitor I've owned. Its crisp and clear image quality is unlike any other, and the 144Hz refresh rate helps keep games clear and smooth. It also features a swivel base, and adjustable monitor height, angle and tilt for precise positioning. An all around excellent monitor for its price.

I got this monitor because it was a the top recommended 144hz 1080p monitor on Logical Increments. Not a single dead pixel, looks awesome, and that 144hz looks buttery smooth. I'll probably never get the 3D gear to try that aspect but I imagine it works as advertised. 10/10 I'd definitely buy again.

i bought a gaming monitor, and it has great quality.

I purchased this product along with my new gaming pc. The specs were the reason for this Purchase. This monitor has a 1 ms response time which, you can feel imidiately. The frames per second are clocking in at 144hz, no tracing what so ever perfect smooth game play. Overall a great monitor!

Very beautiful, crisp and clean display. 1920x1080 is a must and standard for any user. Anything less is not enough desktop real estate IMO. Daily use - 24", very easy on the eyes as ASUS has numerous settings for low blue light and eco modes to emit less harmful blue light in dark rooms/situations. Text is very clean and clear. the 1 millisecond (ms) keeps motion blur when scrolling through text, websites and videos to non-existant. 2 built in speakers do enough to keep clutter off the desk (speaker wise) i still use headphones when gaming. But the built in speakers are good enough for Skype and youtube videos Gaming - 144hz refresh rate, and 1ms response time...cant get any better than this. Ive always played on 60hz monitors....but when you can actually FEEL over 60fps (60hz is capped at 60 fps, even if your monitor says its doing 75-100fps its capped at 60). Im using a R7 370 graphics card (not over kill or too powerful) and runs 144hz beautifully. When playing games like CS-GO, WOW or other FPS games, you can see the smoothness of more frames per second with a faster refresh rate. Price is kinda steep for the every day computer user. I game ocasionally, but needed a bigger monitor and now i game MUCH more. couldnt be happier. MSRP is 299, but for $250 its a bargin. Note: You need DVI Dual Link (cable supplied) or Display Port (DP) connections to take advantage of 144hz, also need to change settings under your video card settings in windows to accomodate for 144hz, default is set to 60hz. HDMI is CAPPED AT 60HZ. Yes this monitor has a HDMI connection, but only use this for CONSOLE games. Your doing a disservice to yourself if you use HDMI for a PC and this monitor. any other 60hz monitor...HDMI would be fine.

Bought as a gift for my son on sale. Price was great and it's easy to set-up and use. He loves the picture quality and the size is perfect for his use.

I am not familiar with asus monitor, but I make the final decision to buy one, it is really a good monito, fast response, accurate color, and i use my graphic card to updae the scan rate to 144 hz , it is perfect, the graphic is very clear, it is a monitor what i am excepting

I'll start by saying that the colors aren't too accurate out of the box, but since they can easily be adjusted I won't take a star away. Once you get the colors the way you want them, this monitor is incredible. My PC is powerful enough to max out any games I want to play in 1080p at the highest framerate so having a 144hz monitor was a must for me. This was my second monitor, but I now use it as my primary monitor and only use my 60hz IPS monitor when I want to edit pictures/videos or need to work on something where color accuracy is important. I would highly recommend this monitor if you like to play PC games.

Has adjustable stand for vertical and tilt, stays firmly in place. Awesome color, adjustable settings for your preference. Nice brightness levels. Super fast pixel response rate. Sharp, clear contrast. Has sound but needs external speakers. Good size for desktop.

144hrz is the way to go for sure. This monitor took me about 2 mins to set up and I was gaming like a champ. The only reason I stepped up to this monitor was due to motion sickness from a small TV I was using. I would most defiantly recommend this product.
