what i really like about this product is cheap and high quality performance

I've stood by the ASUS brand since the beginning of my "gaming career". I definitely would recommend this product, as I actually own 2* (which is super unnecessary speaking I only play games on one of them). The color quality and image quality are both extremely great, and you can customize the contrast/saturation and what not to your liking! * 2 on the right of the picture.

It's worth every cent. The only down side would have to be when I'm playing a game when my character enters a dark room with bright lights it almost looks like I can see trails as the bright light passes through the darkness. Usually that's not something that I come across too much so it's not that big of a deal. One more good thing is, if you play a game like Killing Floor 2 or any other game with no crosshair you can press a button and it'll put a crosshair on the screen

Had this monitor for about a year now. No issues at all! I use it as a secondary monitor in my set up, but it was my main monitor for a while. Gaming on it was just fine.

It's great I love the monitor it looks 3D and looks really sharp I'm happy with it and I would buy it again if I have to and I recommend it to my friends

This is a great monitor for gaming, 144mhz and 1ms response makes everything run smoothly you don't even need gsync for nvidia or free sync for amd. Just great

This is a must buy. At these specs and this price there isn't anything better. you cant beat it I'm purchasing another one in a week without any regrets

The monitor is great 144hz refresh rate. Great to adjust, tilt and angle the monitor in your liking. I am upset because after not even 2 months of use it now has a stuck green pixel. Compared to my Asus VX-8H which I have had close to two years and no problems.

Displays smooth gameplay. Wish you could set a different display option for turning on the monitor.

While gaming there's a huge difference but the image does not look that great. A cheap $90 monitor will probably have a better looking display. I get terrible ghosting near the top of the monitor when I leave browsers open too long. I would probably avoid this monitor.

After owning less than two months, there is a green pixel in the middle of screen that won't go away. I've tried everything. I'm disappointed that I'm now unable to take this back to the store since its after the return window. I have an old Dell HD monitor that I've had for about 12 years, and its still in perfect condition.

Ok, After reading several reviews about ghosting and 144mhz, and being thoroughly confused, i went ahead, bought the monitor, and will review to try and provide clarity to others like me. Don't worry about the 144mhz. ps4 outputs in 60hz, and using an HDMI cable, the monitor refreshes at 60hz. It will only go into 144mhz when using a DVI or the display cable. The 1ms response time is fantastic. I have poor internet. 6 down, 1 up (best offered in my neighborhood), and i still get the drop on other people. I used this monitor to replace my old 5ms Gateway LCD monitor, which is no slouch. The sound from the speakers are dismal though, barely good enough to use for watching netflix,, but I use an astro headset for gaming, so it's a moot point. Color pops, and there is no lag, no ghosting etc. It's worth the money i spent on it , $260. Also, it comes with a feature, where you can put a tiny crosshair on screen. If you play Hardcore modes in COD, like I do, it's amazing, almost cheating. EX: Outrider's Sparrow in Black Ops 3, dead accurate across the map on the crosshairs. hipfire your shotgun, without ever even thinking of ADS. Don't be scared off by people saying it's too expensive, it's not, the 1ms response time is well worth it. As for 3d, I doesn't seem like it will work with the ps4, You seem to need to use a pc, and an nvidia 3d kit (glasses and emitter). If I'm wrong though, someone let me know on that.

my buddy already had this and when i played far cry 4 on it i knew i had to have it! i upgraded to the gtx 970. i have a i5 4690k processor. 16gb of ram. a 600 watt psu. this thing runs full 1080p, which is all i preferably need, at 144 frames per second with the dvi dual link cable it comes with. I bought a displayport to displayport already since i knew they didnt carry it in store and honestly if i knew the dvi dualport worked just as well i wouldnt have purchased a displayport cable. I dont mind that the dvi doesnt support audio since i use headphones. Besides ranting i just wanted this display to get its justice. only downside is the viewing angles. kinda lame but its expected with the tn panel. best monitor without spending $600 plus. Love this display

I am a console gamer and use this monitor primarily for first person shooters. I have Benq monitors as well and they are great, but I think this one is better. The Benq models I have are around $400 dollars, so they aren't the lower end models. I would recommend this monitor to anybody but would wait for it to go on sale. You should be able to find one for around $250.00.
