Pick this monitor up for my son for Christmas to go with his new computer. Perfect size for his desk and fast 144hz for gaming. He loves it can't say much more. Only issue is don't plan on using the onboard speakers as they sound awful but we picked ups 5.1 surround sound system to go with it. I would buy another in a heart beat.

This is a great gaming monitor with almost all the bells and whistles minus gsync. I have a gtx 1070 running this monitor an average 100+ frames per second on every game at 1080p ultra settings. It comes with a dual link DVI cable if your video card has that output which allows you to do 144hz. If you want sound and 144hz then you will need to purchase a separate display port cable. This is a great monitor for consoles as well as you have decreased input lag compared to a television and low gray to gray pixel shift. Max frames per second over HDMI is 60 for console gaming. To increase the hz from 60 - 144 requires a few button clicks on the monitor then adjusting your display settings on your PC. I gave it 4/5 stars because toggling your way through the menus is a chore and to get the best picture settings might require you to download some profiles from online. 144hz is absolutely needed for any type of competitive online fps like overwatch or counterstrike. All in all this monitor does everything you would need and then some. It's priced competitively for a non gsync monitor and it's the biggest screen size you would want for 1080p. Anything bigger than 24inches at 1080p will decrease the DPI and cause you to see the pixels and make text look horrible. If you're looking at something bigger than 24 inches then you should look at 1440p monitors.

Im new to gaming and wanted to be able to enjoy my experience so this monitor was my choice and I dont regret it at all. It has everything that i wanted for a great price. The size and adjustability of the screen is amazing, It also has a great 1ms response time and is also 144hz

It has 144hz and was on sale for only $250.00. It's definitely an upgrade from my last monitor. In other words, it's pretty dank!!

I bought this for my son & got it on a fantastic black Friday deal. It was exactly want my son wanted for gaming...checked all the required boxes for performance. Hes delighted...and there have been no complaints to date. Good size, great colors..win win!

Sad I did not make this change to my gaming rig earlier. This monitor makes gaming experience much better. Previous monitor was like looking through a dirty window pane compared to the image on this monitor. 144hz is the way to go for gaming and the large 24 in screen size covers my field of view so it is very immersive. I use this to mainly play MechWarrior Online. Certainly helped my performance in the game was well.

For the price it does whats expected and a little more. Didnt expect much from an affordable gaming monitor but I was able to color calibrate it to do mild video/photo editing with average color correction capability. If your computer allows it you can boost the screen to 1440p but at the cost of 20fps bringing the refreshrate down to 120 instead of the 144hz at 1080p.

ASUS created an exceptional monitor with VG248QE 24" LED HD monitor. It has exceptional clarity and I have only tested the DVI cable so far. I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone who is doing a lot of data analysis, network designing, or writing professionally for work or school. The added bonus is that it is great for the kids) (as well as adults for gaming as well.

This is a great monitor with the capabilities of gaming at 144 hz refresh rate, the response time is magnificent and at a great price, please not that this is recommended for PC, consoles can not run at 144 hz refresh rate, it is by a dedicated video card.

Went into the local Bestbuy and was going to pick up a monitor I read the reviews on the website. When talking with one of the employees he showed me this monitor and I liked what I had seen so I bought it and several employees said they have the same monitor you will like it. Got home setup was simple and has worked great no complaints and price was good.
