I would suggest purchasing it with Geek Squad setup. I had to upgrade my single modem/router with a modem and a router as separate components because the single component is no longer supported. Since setting up a single modem/router is a simple task, I assumed setting up the 2 components would be as well. While I didn't buy the Geek Squad setup when I bought the components, I did have to buy the setup from Geek Squad later. My suggestion; buy them together unless you are a closet geek and actually know what you are doing. Otherwise, you will have to wait longer to get your wireless network setup after you figure out you can't do it on your own.
