Asus routers are generally pretty sturdy and reliable for home use, with reasonable prices. I have been using Asus routers for years, through different models, all satisfactory. Average life of those models are around 3 years, which is reasonable. The router gets a little hot compared to other brands, but I wouldn't worry about it if it doesn't break down because of that.

Nice little wifi router. I set it up in high location near the center of my house and have could coverage through out. Speeds are impressive. ASUS has a great iPad app for management of the unit.

ASUS is an awesome brand that most people do not take serious. They do a great job in quality and design. I love this router, fast, reliable, affordable and looking good.

I bought this for my son's house while visiting. I've owned several ASUS products before and this one didn't disappoint me at all. It has all the options I needed to create a guest network while configuring it as an AP (Access Point). The coverage was good. I had purchased another brand for a lot less and it didn't work well (coverage issues, and no guest network after putting it in AP mode) so I took it back and got this one. Happy I did.

My Asus router was a great buy (price), and so easy to set up. My old router kept dropping out of service and a Best Buy associate help me find the perfect router for my needs. So, very happy with this product.

This thing is awesome. The router set up was really easy and it transmits a signal very well throughout our home. No more lag time for online gaming and video streaming. Awesome product.

The distance of the wifi is amazingly far. Good and bad for max coverage and network security respectively. The gui is as easy as they come which makes setup and maintenance no problem. I don't like the fact that the SSID cannot be hidden and still have the guest wifi visible.

This is a great router. It is super easy to set up, and it works fantastic. It is significantly better than the combo modem/router I was renting from my cable company.

Bought this and it’s been solid since day one. Has a relatively simple setup for networking newbies such as myself. The range is very good and the speed is far faster than my internet from the provider. The antennas are long/tall, so it can’t fit in extremely small cubbies and is better to have space above the unit.

Significant upgrade from latest model apple router. One unit works better than previous extended network. Good value. Easy to set up.

Very fast stable reliable wifi router dual wan is great abd easy to setup

This router has extended our wifi range quite substantially and it even over rides the main router/ modem from the telephone DSL company. Eventually I will probably replace the phone company modem / router with the DSL companion to this one. The cable companies technology in our area sucks, so we're stuck with DSL but it seems the speeds are adequate for our needs.

This is much better then the unit Cox Cable made us rent for a year. The 5G wireless is SO much faster when playing online games, streaming or downloading large files. It was super easy to configure the guest network too. I would buy this again for sure.

I picked this up so my father would have better wireless than what came with his cable modem. It expanded the distance greatly and he doesn't have to deal with buffering issues with Netflix anymore. The quick setup is pretty easy for anyone to use as I helped him set it up himself rather than me doing it. He was up and running within 15 minutes of unboxing.

I bought this at the recommendation of a Best Buy employee . No matter the workload or streaming this router this router doesn’t miss a beat . Love all the security and customizable features

This router came highly reviewed by several websites, one of them being PCGAMER. I was looking for a router that would do several things. First, to connect and manage all my home's smart devices, ie smart locks and cameras. Second, I want to extend the range of my ISP provided router down to my basement where my game room is. The fact that this device has dual band helps. all my home's smart devices are connected to the 2.4ghz wifi connection. The smart phones and Tablet are all connected to the super fast 5g connection. Another great feature is allowing me to manage the router when im away from home via the smart app.

replaced a very old router with this one.. I have 100 mbs internet .. and this will do well beyond that speed.. unless you have fiber optic gig speed, this is what you want ..
