Yes, you can install a second SSD and this laptop's RAM is onboard the motherboard, it's not upgradeable.

Please try again later.Update; after watching a couple pretty good YouTube reviews on all the new Asus laptop models with AMD Strix Point Ryzen 9 AI 370 (or 365) CPUs, it seems pretty certain that all have soldered RAM (regardless of what Asus misinforation might say). Regarding extra available SSD M.2 slots tho, Asus info seems quite reliable. Although one might be tempted to be crabby at Asus for the nonupgradeable RAM, that is actually due to AMD design critera - the fast 7500 MHz RAM cannot tolerate SODIMM mounts. With luck we might get CAMM2 mounts in 2025, but for those (like me) who need a great laptop in 2024, we’re pretty much stuck with (often not enough) soldered LPDDR5X 7500 MHz RAM. Be thankful that it’s fast anyway.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Note that this particular model comes with 32 GB of soldered RAM, which is good. Unfortunately, almost all of the entry level models sporting this CPU have only 16 GB.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.OK people, note that so far we can’t get a straight answer about the RAM from Asus. For this 4060 model, Asus says it’s soldered RAM. For the 4070 model Asus is currently claiming that it’s upgradeable SODIMM. But I doubt they differ that way. Upshot: if Asus tells you something, flip two coins to determine if they’re lying or incompetent or both.
