SSD can be upgraded but not the Ram. It uses soldered LPDDR5X (Low Powered DDR5X) memory.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes Apple (or should we call them Greedypple) started this trend toward soldered nonupgradeable RAM, and sadly it seems to be infecting the new laptops like Covid. But there is a potential solution to this wretched problem on the horizon. It’s called CAMM2 memory - also available in a LPDDR5X flavor for laptops. Now Asus gets a lot of it’s answers wrong here, so it’s easy to believe the original Asus answerr is wrong here, and RAM is nonupgradeable soldered LPDDR5X - as is the case in many recent Asus laptops. On the other hand it might be possible that Asus is leading the industry here and implementing CAMM2 memory in this model - in which case it is true that you can have Geek Squad upgrade your RAM later on. So which is it for this model, Asus? Soldered RAM? Or upgradeable state-of-the-art CAMM2 RAM?
