Has anyone tried running this laptop when closed and docked at a desk setup? My assumption is that it's probably not a great idea for thermals and/or the health of the screen, as it exhausts air from the grill above the keyboard. null

Intakes are on the sides while heat exhaustion is routed to the rear of the laptop. Above the keyboard are the speakers. I've attached a picture that details the cooling system. 

I use this device in its closed position about 99% of the time. The other 1% is me just showing it off:)
My system is always ON, I rarely turn it off. You should not have issues as I mentioned, the heat is vented from the back.
