• Yes these do have that issue. Exact cause of mine for dying. DO NOT BUY!!!

• No, that was the earlier models. This has no Liquid metal malfunctions.

• If it's after august you should be fine, but I rather get the extended warranty from best buy I got my repair from Asus( liquid metal issue).
