Curical ram is what xotic and hidevolution will highly likely upgrade the machine to, confirmed for hid.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.hidevolution and xotic are saying on their site its upgradable to 64gb, what sticks wont have issues I'm unsure of or which are the best speed given some of the performance differences shown on jarrod's youtube
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably the performance is worst with 64Gb because all the 32Gb SODIMM are dual rank. If you upgrade it I recommend choosing a DDR4 3200MHz PC4-25600 Non-ECC Unbuffered 1.2V CL22 1Rx8 Single Rank SODIMM
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most of these gaming machines are running the 64 bit of Windows Home edition so the maximum amount of RAM you can put is 128 gigs of ram. I personally would upgarde to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit version because you can put up to 6tb of RAM also you're future proofing the machine. So to answer you question you can put as much RAM as you want in the machine depending upon what version of Windows you're running. I personally would upgrade to at least 32 or 64 gigs of ram. You will not utilize all of that RAM but as the games become more advanced the more RAM you will need to run smoothly also the functionality of running multiple applications will be much smoother. I have 64 gigs of RAM in my G15 and what a world of difference it makes.
