“IS having 2 uneven RAM slots cause any issues? I just bought this laptop and It has 8gb RAM soldered and 8gb not. I bought a 16bg ram so replace the not soldered RAM. WIll any issues arise from having an 8gb RAM soldered and 16gb of RAM not soldered?”

• According to the ASUS literature, that should work if it is the correct RAM card. 24GB is the max it says this laptop will handle.

• No, there are no issues having an 8GB RAM onboard and another 16GB RAM in the slot. This laptop will still run in dual-channel mode.
