“Can someone from Asus please tell me why the 16 GB ram is soldered and is not upgradable? By soldering in the RAM Asus is making this laptop obsolete before its time. A RAM upgrade is a relatively inexpensive upgrade and extends the life of the laptop.”

It was a design decision finalized by ASUS. 16GB RAM onboard is more than adequate to run high-intensive applications available in the market, for years to come, without needing RAM upgrade.
