Q528EH-202.BL ASUS Laptop
Q: Does this laptop come with a sleeve and stylus?
A: No, it does not come with a sleeve or stylus.
Q: What is the screen brightness in nits?
A: I received the answer from ASUS today: It's 300 nits. This next piece of info is not exactly the answer to this question but it's related......just FYI: The color gamut is 100% sRGB.
A: No, the 16 GB ram is soldered and is not upgradable, according to ASUS Support Team.
Q: What are the laptop's weight and battery size?
A: According to the Asus Site: https://www.asus.com/us/2-in-1-PCs/ZenBook-Flip-15-Q528/Tech-Specs/ With standard display approx. 1.9 kg (4.19 pounds). Up to 12 hours battery life, 96 Wh 6-cell lithium-polymer battery.
Q: What is this laptop made out of-plastic or aluminum?
A: Aluminum but that is about it for info as I can't get the back off yet. Need to order more TORX as it is very difficult to get a quality T4 and T5. I suspect it has a M.2 drive! Maybe! Also not sure what format the drive has for the Optane 32GBs. It may not have any available m.2 slots???? Or it could have an SATA SSD slot. No one knows at this point in time and it will be wed before I get another TORX set.
Q: Can you disable the discrete GPU to save battery life in bios and use Intel iris graphic?
A: The Q528 uses Intel Iris by default. The NVIDIA GPU is used (automatically) only if you're gaming - if the Iris is at 100%, or even disabled, the NVIDIA will not be used unless you're gaming (which I found strange). The Intel or the Iris GPU can be disabled/enabled from Device Manager, no need to reboot. I'm not a gamer, but use multiple (4K) displays with lots of video streaming - I found the Intel Iris working great
Q: How many USB ports does this laptop have?
A: 1 USB-A port and 2 USB-C ports
Q: What pen is compatible with this pc?
A: I bought this one and it works just fine: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DWYK28S
