“A question for owners of this device. From the images I've seen, the laptop lacks a bottom vent but has vents on the sides and the back. So, my question is, does air come in through the back and out the sides or in through the sides and out the back?”

Air comes in through the bottom and back, and exits through the sides. A great design when actually using as a laptop or converting to a tablet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes in addition to the side it has "REAR" Bottom Venting. Honestly I've seen no damage but you really have to be careful it can get to hot. I love it but I wish it had a bevel type base like the ones I make to allow air flow. Great laptop

Please try again later.it stays relatively cool but the graphics card is not a high powered one -- it's very pleasant as a work laptop and does not cause 100 degree Celsius burns on your "lap" like a razer laptop would (so not for gaming or vr which tend to max the chip's power and cause the heat issues in laptops from my experience)
