A:Answer No, it does not. Apparently, Intel doesn't force this (ability to charge via Thunderbolt) for laptops that take over 100W of power. This Asus comes with a 120W power adapter.
It is possible, however, to use a 100W USB-C charger with an adapter that goes from USB-C to the barrel port on the laptop. (I do this when traveling so I can use 1 charger for phone and laptop).
