I tested livecd of fedora linux 36 and almost everything worked for me except wifi which requires non-free fw modules be installed to work, but that is common on linux. Touchscreen & rotation worked, camera, trackpad, etc. I was pleasantly surprised! Display brightness keys didnt work but maybe that just requires some finagling in linux. Suspend seemed to work when i closed the lid but needed further confirmation. A370m support was probably not in the kernel version i had so lspci didnt pick up the a370m dgpu at all. It is still pretty new.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I installed Mint on mine. Would not install at first. I had to search for the Mint EDGE version (I assume that means "bleeding edge") with support for newer machines. I LOVE how fast this machine is running Mint. Caution, the only think I cannot get to work is the internal speakers for sound. So for sound, I either 1. connect to TV at home, 2. use earbud headphones, or 3. Use a bluetooth external speaker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The laptop was validated, qualified and released with Windows OS only, ASUS doesn't provide Linux support.
