Although the Wacom enjoys broader compatibility, given it has adopted BOTH Wacom Active ES protocol and Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP), the Surface Pen is the better choice as it feels more natural with Asus Windows Ink devices. The Surface Pen has less jitter and is more responsive overall; however, the Wacom is able to be charged via USB-C, whereas the Surface Pen requires a "AAAA" battery, albeit does have remarkable longevity. You could probably live with a Wacom just fine, but if you have a choice the Surface Pen is an easy recommendation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the Wacom Bamboo Ink Plus Stylus is an active and MPP compliant pen, it is compatible with the laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is untrue- even with MPP 2.0 some pens are incompatible such as RENAISSER
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The bamboo will work. Anything that says 4096 pressure will work.
