Does this phone has US warranty? I mean free one. null

I just ordered this phone - August 20 2018 - and the phone box includes an insert with the phone serial number and proof of a manufacturer warranty (12 month warranty.) The standard ASUS phone warranty is here https://www.asus.com/support/images/upload/warranty/ca-en_ZenFone.pdf But the box clearly states 12 months on the warranty paperwork inside the box.
