No, it only allows transfer and saving of media files such as photos and videos. Can not move or install applications to the SD Card.

Also, you can use Google Drive to play videos you've uploaded from your computer, third-party apps, and apps from the Play Store without worrying about transfers

Unfortunately it only allows transferring and saving media files such as photos and videos. You can not move downloaded applications to the sd card or install to it.

You can put a micro sd card in it by popping off the back cover. It seems to only use it for certain files it wants to. I haven't figured out how to tell it what apps to put on it.
