- Answer I have it set up the Comcast Xfinity. So I am not sure. I think it Century Link does also. It is called the Voice and runs through coaxial outlet. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

Questionhow do you set the ring number to 6 rings before the answering machine comes on? I would like the answering machine to come on after 6 rings 3 rings will not allow time enough to get to the phone. I want to increase the ring to 6 rings or more.

- Answer The manual does NOT tell you how to change the number of rings. Why does ATT set this a 3 rings. At 88 years old, I cannot cross the room in 3 rings.

- Answer I've never had this problem but if you have the phone through Comcast cable the problem might be in the cable modem. Try resetting the modem and see if that helps. Also check both of the phone cord ends to see if one of the wires on the plug ends is missing or damaged and check where the ends plug in to see if the contact ends are damaged or out of line..

- Answer Greetings! I would say yes. I have this same telephone hooked up to an external answering machine and have the actual answering machine installed on the phone turned to off. I hope this answered your question.
