“Has anyone had problems with the phone going staticky, or with programmed "allow" numbers getting shunted straight to voicemail? We've had both problems -- and my cellphone is the # that keeps getting shunted to voicemail, so I can't even call home!”

Have not a problem calling my home phone or static. I added my cell to the allowed caller list. Reconnect your phone jacks for a fresh connection or maybe product is defective. I use the answering machine, not voice mail.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No to the static issue, but a big "YES" to allowed numbers occasionally going directly to voicemail (or, worse yest, getting blocked altogether). I mentioned this in my review of this Panasonic phone system.
