“Can the voice announce be turned off so the whole house or my house guests do not hear my messages?”

• Yes, the announce can be muted in the setup menu. I believe this will also mute the message from being transmitted through the base speaker also.

• As far as I know, it tries to announce the name of the caller but you have to use your imagination a bit.
