THE MUTE BUTTON IS ALSO THE DELETE BUTTON. I GET RID OF THE PHONE NUMBERS THAT CALLED ME BY PRESSING THE CID CENTERROUND BUTTON ARROW DOWN AND KEEP PRESSING UNTILL A PHONE # COMES UP ON THE DISPLAY AND THEN I PRESS THE DELETE (or mute) BUTTON AND IT GETS DELETED. HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL. JOHN
