• Yes, it can be connected via the Phono input or Tape/Aux input. There is a switch on the back of the unit to select magnetic phone or line output levels.

• It should be. There appears to be an AUX input on the Beosound 4000. Connect the turntable here. Make certain that the phono preamplifier located inside the turntable is turned on. That is, that the preamp selector switch located on the rear of the turntable is in the LINE position.
