“On the box, the forest version says 4K/8K with eARC, however, the box for this Cinnamon one says 4K and ARC only. Now, the website says Cinnamon has 4k/8K eARC. I am very confused. Can someone clarify this, are there different versions for this cable?”

It either has ethernet or it does not. You probably don't need new HDMI cables for eARC. Older cables with Ethernet, either Standard or High Speed, will work.
