Hello, HDMI cables are the most common cable you will use for connecting digital components to one another. For example, your cable or satellite box, DVD or Blu-Ray player, game console or computer to your HDTV. Each device would need one HDMI cable to connect from it to your HDTV. A single HDMI cable will carry both digital audio and video signals to your HDTV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depending on the sources you will be setting up with your television. Any current high resolution component like a ps3,ps4,xbox one,blu ray player or media player like roku or amazon fire tv require hdmi to take advantage of your high definition "1080p"or 4k tv "2160p" resolutions. Other cables like component and composite video cables are necessary if you are using dated equipment vcr, regular dvd player etc..because try only put out resolutions between 480- and 720 p and do not have the connectivity for the above cables.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on what you are hooking up to it, and how you want to configure it. You will need no less than an HDMI high-speed with Ethernet cable from the output of your cable or satellite box to the input of your t.v.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need an HDMI for every component you add to the TV. Your cable company generally supplies one with the box and any new components you buy will probably have them. So none. I had a Blueray player that came with a coax cable but was HDMI capable. That's why I bought the upgraded cable for a 4K Ultra HD TV.
