“This is an excellent cable however I am considering returning it and going with the Audioquest Vodka HDMI cable for sound for my JBL 3.1 BAR soundbar and subwoofer(wireless) Does this cable not support 3.1 channel and higher?”

• As long as the hardware supports 3.1, the fiber optic cable will provide 3.1. However, HDMI has a wider bandwidth and so would probably sound better than a fiber optic cable.
