Can you program this from anywhere? null

You can add a passcode from anywhere if you also have the August Connect (this allows you to access the lock over the internet). Other than that, you just need to be within distance of the lock so that the lock can know it is supposed to accept that code.

Nope, you have to be near the lock to program it. You can't just buy a August connect to talk to the lock from somewhere else and program a code that a guess can walk to the lock and have it worked. I know what you think, suxs right? August connect does 1 thing and 1 thing only, open and close the lock remotely sometimes.
