• I use it from 30 feet between the garage and the lock. The lock responds more quickly to the keypad than the phone app.

• I believe it connects via Bluetooth, so I wouldn’t push it more than 50 feet. I think the idea is to have it mounted on the exterior door frame of the door being operated. That is where mine is mounted, so it is omg 3 feet away from the lock.
