Yes, but that is a feature of the software being used.

No. I tried with Streamlabs OBS and as well as with RECentral OBS Software by this webcam manufacturer. I could not cancel out the webcam video background to either Solid color or transparent. I don't think I missing any step. Can anybody confirm again please this webcam allows it.

Thats done in software like OBS(Open Broadcasting Suite) - generally in conjunction with a greenscreen. Using chroma keying the background of the keyed color(green in the case of a greenscreen) is replaced with another image or video feed. This is how streamers or Youtube personalities can stand in front of gameplay footage.

This camera can work just fine for Zoom or OBS - both can do chroma keying. I use it for exactly that for the classes I teach. You can usually do it somewhat without a green screen but the edges around you may blur with the background and warp quite a bit. A cheap greenscreen can be had for 30-50
