How is the device powered? null

It appears to run on some form of electricity. Seriously though it comes with a power cord you just plug into any wall outlet.

Plugs into a standard electrical outlet.

Plug it into 110 v and your computer and modem.

It has a small transformer that plugs directly into the wall plug with an approx: three foot cord to the router.
