After having to return 2 Linksys routers that decided to stop working(in a 6 month period) , the sales person suggested this one. It takes up less space, is not expensive, was easier to use and thus far I really like it! Never had heard of this brand before so glad I have now!

I replaced my Belkin N150 router with this newer version N600 router. Although both routers were faster than my internet speed required, the newer N600 actually sped up my home network communication. It also did speed up my internet connection for my wifi-connected devices. They are now running at almost the internet rated speed over WIFI, which usually causes a little speed loss. I have built my entire LAN across/through this router, and have absolutely no problems -- it handles 10 devices through the router and they all communicate with each other seamlessly. The new interface takes a little getting used to, but it works fine, and there's little change from prior versions, except making it more graphically-oriented. Belkin did, however, remove the QOS option on this router, which did help the prior versions speed up the communication when turned off. Really nice feature is the dual-band 2.4/5.0 networks for splitting high-use and less-demanding devices. Another great improvement is a separate guest access, which allows guests to access your internet service with or without a password, but keeping them off of your network of devices. I've had other brands of routers and have had some disappointments, but have never been let down by Belkin. I'd recommend this product to anyone who needs to use this for a home system, and it costs substantially less than comparable routers, too.

I bought this for my daughter to use at college and with the dual band I was able to setup a more secure channel for her and her roommates and use the second channel for use by visitors. It was very easy to setup and performance was quite good for the price.

This dual band router was super easy to set up and works with all my devices. The plus is a USB port and included software that allows you to use the router as a streaming media server. I can load a ton of music and movies on a USB drive and stream it all to my Playstation in the den. It has a strong signal and plenty of power to serve multiple devices all at one time due to the dual band technology. I would definitely recommend this router.

I got this router on sale for about 50$ and it's worth every penny. Extremely easy setup, great range and speed and you can also attach a printer or external hdd for wireless printing and storage. I was up and running in 5 minutes!

I had a modem and router combo. It stopped working. So purchased a separate modem and this router. This is a dual band router. So you'll see two wireless connections in your computer. Setup was very easy. This also provides a guest connection. So we don't need to share our password to guests. All the configuration can be performed in the router home page. Haven't faced any issue so far. Works great!!

I picked up one of these routers for a friend earlier this afternoon for her apt . Found it a breeze to hook up and install .
Only took me 15 mins. start to finish .
Not one hang up .
The performance is great for the price also .
If you want a router that can handle four devices at a reasonable price that has a good amount of performance ?
Go check out the Belkin N600 Dual-Band Wireless-N+ Router .
Good bang for the buck .

Bought this router after my old one burnt out. Needless to say this one is better than that one, internet seems faster overall versus old one; however, I'm still learning the tricks of this one. It's very easy to setup. It has two bands: one for media and one for internet browsing which it walks you through for access and passwords. It has a USB port on the back so you can setup a hard drive for a shared network. At this point my only concern is that my online gaming connection says the speed of the router won't support online game play, therefore not the best item if you're looking for that. Otherwise this router gets the job done for everything else.

I originally went to Best Buy to get another router but they were out of the one I wanted. It was an AC router that would have cost $25 more. This is more than ample for the normal user. I believe it can handle up to 8 devices. It's duel band which is something I required simply for downloads and such. I figured with purchasing my own router and not paying charter I probably will save $250 over 5 years. I paid $50 for mine on sale. That's 10 months of fees. This works just fine, I've had no problems and I'll look forward to my savings that I can invest in something else than giving it to charter. Hope this helps.

It has great coverage inside and out of the house. My computer is wired to it, blu ray, netgear streamer, nook, iphone all connect with no issue. Every once in a while I have to reset the network, due to lost connection. Beyond that, for the price it's been good and when I start getting new devices they'll still be able to connect on the 5 ghz signal. Overall easy to connect and setup. I'm not overly techy so this hasn't been a bad experience using this router.

I purchased this product to replace the router.modem I was renting from Directv. I wish I had done it sooner. I live in a 2400 sq ft. home, my son has a PS3, PS4, and an Xbox.I have my wireless printer connected through this device, and currently it works perfectly. I love it. Internet speed is good, several devices working simutaneously at the same time, and we have had no problems. The office were the router is connected is on a different side of the house than the main living room, and the range works throughout every part of the house. I would definitely recommend this product and the price I thought is reasonable. I'm not a gamer, but my son is. And if you are looking for a reasonably priced device, which frees you from being a slave to the Cable company, then you can't go wrong with this. Now, if I could just get rid of Cable all together than I might have a retirement, fund lol... Until they come up with another way for me to get NFL package, I'm stuck.

As far as consumer grade routers, this one is fairly good. I especially like how the online admin portal is set up. Easy to manage, even on a mobile device. Fairly reliable too. Range covers my 1400 sq ft house, but I don't think it could cover too much more.

This router is easy to install and connect. It's small enough to keep hidden if your using it to connect to your satellite network provider. I use exede out in a rural area and have had no problems providing connectivity to my Dish receiver.

The belkin n600 is a good wireless router, it's smaller size great look and easy set up are its strong points. Even though it doesn't do as well in my home because of the size of my house, and the amount of devices I was still really surprised by the belkins efforts to connect to almost everything I have. I would still definitely recon men it to a friend with a slightly smaller home, or even just a limited number of technology to take signal strength from it. I had at least 8 to 10 devices that needed signal strength including an iMac computer.
